Kerri Dawn- As You Grow

As we enter the world we cry.

Unknown to us why.

We start to absorb what we see

and we begin to believe.

We grow and we learn how to fit in.

But try as we might our hopes seem slim.

So we live each day and hope and pray.

Then when when it appears to late.

You open a gate, the mystery of life unfolds.

But have we grown to old?
