When you Wake up
When you wake up in the middle of the night.
You look out the window, did you see something just out of sight.
Is that scratching or clawing some-thing outside.
Yes, they can fly just don’t let them in, it’s the question they ask and your choices are slim.
Think again forever young, a chance to live! or are you numb.
You may never know, the choice is yours.
All you do is open the door, in the middle of the night and wish out loud with no fright.
They will come and take you away into the night to never see day.
You look in the mirror and what do you see, your reflection is gone you no longer be.
You belong to the night no sunshine no light.
Are you sure what you want there’s no turning back.
The morning is coming and I have to get back.
